Studies on the Constituents of Korean Papaveraccae (Ⅱ)

Abstract
|
|
|
We, the authors, collected P. somniferum L.(opium poppy and tall annual poppy) illegally cultivated in tow different districts of Korea in order to determine the opium alkaloids.
We found in both cases morphine, codeine, thebaine, paraverine and narcotime in their capsules, stems, leavers and roots and the morphine content appears in the priority order of campsule, stem, leaf, and root but codeine does more in capsule and root.
